Life is not what happens to us, but what we can do with it. You can go with the flow, lost in the crowd, or you can become different from everyone else. Each person always has a choice: fight or inaction, striving forward or resignation to the ordinary? What will you choose? The path you are walking now will determine your destiny in the future. Can you expect good results later if you do not make any effort now? It is like hoping for a rich harvest in the fall, having not sown anything in the spring. Those who do little work on themselves cannot get much from life. Having something without making any effort is an illusion, a deception. A curatorial hour on the topic “My success is my result” was held at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. Its goals were: to strengthen self-confidence, increase optimism, relieve emotional stress, motivate students to achieve goals, focus on achievement, increase motivation for the learning process, update the concept of “success”; define the features of a modern successful person.

During the event, the children tried to answer: Success – what is behind this word? Why do we strive for it so passionately? What is the lifestyle of a successful person? What is true success? By what signs (criteria) can you determine that you have become successful? If you have reached the top, what to do next? They also gave associations to the word “success”, created a portrait of a modern successful person, and derived a formula for a successful person.

At the end of the event, the students came to the conclusion that for any person, this is a kind of chain of actions aimed at realizing the goal and achieving the necessary and desired result. Only a goal-oriented and responsible person is able to clearly define his formula for success, i.e. the goal, resources, means and his personal capabilities that will lead him to the result called Success.
