On November 8, 2024 in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College was held a meeting to inform students of 2-3 courses of groups E-13 and M-11 about opportunities to enter military schools of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was organized to select candidates wishing to enter military educational institutions. During the meeting, representatives of the military unit 99260 of the territorial defense of Kostanay, senior sergeant Tuekenov Baurzhan Askanovich and senior sergeant Zhetibaev Elzhan Azamatuly, told students about the various secondary and higher military educational institutions of the country, the conditions of admission and recruitment rules.

They also familiarized those present with the peculiarities of service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, benefits, conditions of remuneration of military personnel and the organization of conscription.

Special attention was paid to the role of military service in employment in the military and government structures. Information booklets containing detailed information on the enrollment process and the prospects of military service were distributed to the young men.

The students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions to which they received detailed and informative answers. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and aroused interest among students.

Such an event helps to broaden students’ understanding of military schools and service in the army, and contributes to a more informed choice of future profession.
