From September 28 to October 2, the Regional Championship WorldSkills Kostanay – 2020 starts in the Kostanay region. Since 2015, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College has been actively participating in the development and popularization of the WorldSkills professional skills competition in the region and the republic. There are 7 sites on the basis of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, organized with modern and specialized equipment for the following 8 competencies: Web design, “Graphic design”, “Determination of the quality of grain and its products”, “Bakery business”, “Confectionery business”, “Electrical installation” , “Mobile Robotics”, “Internet of Things”.
Since 2015, our students, under the guidance of talented teachers, have represented the region and the country with dignity in the WorldSkills Championship:
The WorldSkills World Championship in Abu Dhabi was attended by:
- Davydov Alexander, Kotsurenko Valery,
- There are prizes at the WorldSkills Russia International Championship in Krasnodar: 2 silver medals – Alexander Davydov, Valery Kotsurenko,
- Success of our students in the National Championship WorldSkills Kazakhstan: 5 gold medals – Alexander Davydov in 2016 and 2017, Valery Kotsurenko, Gulzara Yerisheva, Zhannar Murzakhmetova; 1 silver medal – Gerasimov Yuri; 3 bronze medals – Nikita Mineev, Tatiana Prusakova, Vladislav Kulik.
Every year there is an increase in the number of participants and winners in the WorldSkills professional skill competition. This suggests that our experts have gained experience in participating in the competition at the regional and national levels, have a high level of professional skill, and are in constant search of development and self-training. This factor contributes to the development of talented youth, the training of competent specialists, competitive graduates.
