On February 13-14, 2025, the regional stage of the Kazakhstan Spartakiad among colleges in chess was held at the Rudny Polytechnic College. 20 teams of technical and vocational education institutions from all over the region took part in the competition. Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College was represented by a team of three boys and one girl:

1. 1st board – Pritisk Nikanor (group 3ST-6, team captain)

2. 2nd board – Miramov Zhaksylyk (group 2PO-5)

3. 3rd board – Taygarin Aydin (group 2PO-5)

4. 4th board – Amirgalieva Radmila (group 1BB-1)

In a tough and exciting fight, the chess players of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College scored 29 points and took second place, losing to the winners by only 0.5 points.
