Anti-corruption and “Clean Session” action

Corruption is one of the global problems of modern society, and the fight against it requires the active participation of all spheres of activity, including education. An important role in this is played by the formation of academic honesty among students before the examination period.

Every year the college organizes the Clean Session campaign aimed at promoting the principles of honesty, responsibility and fairness. The main purpose of the campaign is to strengthen students’ understanding that knowledge acquired independently is a reliable foundation for their future professional activities.

Prior to the session, students are provided with explanatory work. At the meetings the consequences of dishonest behavior are discussed, both for the student’s personality and for the society as a whole.

The anti-corruption activities include:

– discussions “Corruption: Good or Bad”, “Academic Integrity: Personal Choice or Public Obligation”, “Effective Methods of Fighting Corruption: Youth Perspective”, “Why is Corruption an Obstacle on the Way to Success?”;

– lectures “Corruption: Causes, Consequences and Methods of Fighting it”, “Academic Integrity as a Basis for a Successful Future”, “Ethics and the Law: How to Observe the Principles of Integrity in Everyday Life”;

– curatorial hours “I am against corruption”, “Integrity and responsibility: the path to success”, “A world without corruption: is it possible?”, “Your position against corruption: start with yourself”.

The topics raised help to strengthen the foundations of academic ethics. Special attention is paid to such issues as prevention of cheating, avoidance of bribery and honesty when completing tests and tests.
