Many years ago, our country opened a new milestone in its history: it grew stronger and achieved great results in its development.

A unified curatorial hour for 1st-4th year students “I am proud of my people” was held at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The goal of the curatorial hour was: to critically evaluate and correct one’s own behavior when communicating with other people; to perceive other (including opposing) ideas and opinions.

During the event, students learned the significance of Independence Day for our country and our people. They talked about how important it is to value and respect one’s history, culture and traditions, and to be proud of one’s homeland; discussed the importance of respecting and understanding other people, their points of view and opinions. They also talked about the importance of being tolerant and ready to find compromises in different situations.

I hope that this curatorial hour will help students better understand the importance of unity, harmony and pride for their country, and will be an incentive for the development of personal culture and relationships. At the end of the curatorial hour, the children concluded that the future of our republic depends on what they will be like, the older generation hopes only for them. The event ended with words of wishes: peace and tranquility, unity and prosperity to our vast country.
