Choosing a profession

Choosing a profession is a step that determines the adult life of every person. What profession should I choose and how to be in demand on the labor market in the future? Which profession will bring both pleasure and financial well-being? It is difficult for a teenager to answer these questions, since he is not familiar with the world of professions. Therefore, today the importance of career guidance among school graduates is significantly increasing.

The college faces the task of professionalizing the future applicant, increasing his activity in the process of his career guidance, which will further train a motivated student to successfully solve the tasks of entering the professional activity of a future specialist.

On April 11, master classes on vocational guidance for schoolchildren for the Zhastyk school were held at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. Future applicants were introduced to the specialties of the college and conducted master classes in the specialties: Accounting and auditing, Power supply (by industry), Standardization, metrology and certification (by industry), Maintenance, repair and operation of electromechanical equipment (by type and industry), Mechanical engineering technology (by type), Elevator, flour milling, cereal and feed production, Bakery, pasta and confectionery production, Software (by type), Applied Bachelor of Computer Engineering and Information Networks. The contingent of participants of the event was 20 people.

The students of the school were interested, actively participated in master classes, and asked questions. They were also interested in the topic of student life: sections and clubs.
