Winning alarm, sound 45th!

Unforgettable day of May 9, 1945 forever entered the history of humanity. In the holy feast, the Day of Victory united pride in the heroic deed of the soldier-liberator, bright memory of the heroes of the great battles, gratitude to those who forged victory in the rear, and then restored from the ruins of the city and village. Soldiers of Victory not only decided the fate of the country, but also won for all humankind the right to a decent life. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War know best the price of this day. In the years of severe trials, they honorably fulfilled their duty to the Fatherland, forever immortalizing their exploit and their names. On land, in the air and on the water, they thundered the enemy, stood to death near Moscow, defended Sevastopol and Stalingrad, fought in the Kursk Bulge, liberated the countries of Europe, and took Berlin.

Each of us is obliged to preserve the memory of the heroes of the last war and pass it on to our children. The main goal of the program is to educate Kazakhstanis about true patriotism, which expressed in love, pride and devotion to their village, city, land, history, culture, traditions and life, moral duty to the Motherland.

As part of the implementation of the ideas of the Program at the Kostanay Higher Polytechnic College, a solemn event dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place on 4.05.2018. This holiday became a dedication to all veterans, to all representatives of the older generation. The honorary guests of the event were war veterans and workers of the rear. With a welcoming speech made by Kazanov Grigory Antonovich, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.

During the event, heartfelt songs of the war years performed by the vocal group “Singing Hearts”, staged the best works about the war, fervent dances of the studio “Miras”.

The guests and participants of the event were treated with fragrant soldier’s porridge prepared in the conditions of military field kitchen.

At the end of the event, the veterans gathered at the festive table for a tea party.
