From April 9 to April 10, the WorldSkills Kostanay 2019 Regional championship will be held on the basis of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College on the competencies “Determining the quality of grain and its processed products”, “Graphic Design” and “Baking skills”.

The WorldSkills Kostanay 2019 Regional championship is a large-scale competition of professional skills according to WorldSkills standards among students of technical and vocational education institutions, promoting professional orientation, introduction of the best world practices into the domestic education system, raising the prestige of working professions and attracting young people to manufacturing sectors of the economy.

Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College for three years is the basis for 6 sites of the Regional championship:

• “Web design”;
• “Determination of the quality of grain and its products”;
• “Graphic design”;
• “Baking skills”;
• “Confectionery”;
• “Wiring”.

Our social partners are Bayan Sulu JSC, Lyubimaya Eva LLP, Kostanay Trade LLP, Astykzhan-Kostanay LLP, Baltic Control Kazakhstan LTD LLP, Lastochka LLP, Lopatina IP, Synar-Group LLP ”, Tobol Agro LLP, Dostar-09 LLP, Kegok JSC, Mezhregionenergotranzit LLP, Eurasia Agro LLP, ID-GROUP LLP are actively involved in the work of the site.

College laboratories are equipped with modern equipment that allows for a high-level WorldSkills Championship.

The best students of the Kostanay region will take part in the competitions according to their professional competences. They will complete the tasks included in the program of the Regional championship WorldSkills Kazakhstan for two days.

The expert community is represented by highly qualified specialists of the leading enterprises in Kazakhstan: KostanaySoft LLP, Bayan Sulu JSC, RPA KEGOS JSC, Mezhregionenergotranzit LLP, Energomontazh Kuat LLP, SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP, Dostar 09 LLP, experts technical and vocational education organizations.

The contestants who have won in their competence will join the team of Kostanay region and will represent the region in the WorldSkills Kazakhstan National Championship in Nur-Sultan.
