From April 4 to April 6, the WorldSkills Kostanay 2019 Regional Championship in terms of Web Design and Confectionery was held on the basis of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College.

The Kostanay Polytechnic High College successfully develops the WorldSkills movement, whose goal is to increase the prestige of working professions and the development of skills. Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College for three years is the base for 6 sites of the Regional WorldSkills Championship.

Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College is a three-time winner of the National Championship of Kazakhstan, college students are winners of silver medals of the International Championship Russia 2017, participants of the World Championship WorldSkills Abu-Dhabi-2017, Euroskills Budapest 2018.

The best students of the Kostanay region took part in the competitions according to their professional competences, who for three days complete the tasks included in the program of the Regional Championship WorldSkills Kazakhstan.

The expert community is represented by highly qualified specialists of ID-GROUP, the leading IT company in Kostanay, the largest enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the production of confectionery products, Bayan Sulu JSC, and experts from technical and vocational education organizations.

The contestants who have won in their competence will join the team of Kostanay region and will represent the region in the WorldSkills Kazakhstan National Championship in Nur-Sultan city.
