As part of the educational work on 24/01/2023, a curatorial hour was held in the HP 20 group on the topic “What you need to know when applying for employment” in the form of a business game.

The students were asked to write a resume and highlight their professional and academic achievements so that a potential employer would immediately see their potential.

During the role-playing game “Interview”, students visited the roles of an employer and a job seeker, demonstrated a presentation of their profession. The main task when looking for a job is to find a common language with the employer, to make a favorable impression on him.

Students were given recommendations on the need to develop soft skills, adhere to a business style of dress, attend professional networking events and job fairs, where they will be able to meet potential employers and expand their opportunities. Employers value communication skills, leadership and the ability to work in a team.

In the final part of the curatorial hour, fellow students Anastasia Semenova, Daria Vunsh and Angelina Petrova shared with their classmates their employment experience in the specialty “Bakery, pasta and confectionery production” at the Bayan Sulu factory and the confectionery shop of the First family restaurant chain during their internship. The guys wished them not to be afraid to send resumes and participate in interviews, as perseverance and determination can be the keys to successful employment.
