On November 30, 2023, the deputy director for educational work, teacher of Russian language and literature Dyusekeeva L.K. held a training seminar for young teachers on the topic “Features of point-rating system of assessment of students’ learning achievements: from assessment criteria to learning outcomes”.  The speaker noted that goal setting is an indispensable part of assessment. The clearer the goals are formulated, the more effective and accurate the assessment will be.   Based on the objectives, the teacher formulates tasks for students and chooses tools for assessment, so it is necessary to choose accurate assessment tools (task, exercise, etc.) and the tasks should be not reproductive, but of problematic nature.

The participants of the training seminar noted the relevance of the seminar topics.
