On March 27, 2024, within the framework of the Sanaly Urpak Anti-corruption Club, a round table was held at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College on the topic: “Topical issues and modern problems of anti-corruption”

The goal is to deepen the theoretical level of students’ knowledge of such a phenomenon as corruption, the causes of its occurrence, and the factors contributing to its development.

This event was held in accordance with the plan of educational work of the college. The moderators were teachers of history and legal disciplines -Shektybaeva L.F., Pushkareva A.V.

The meeting began with the question “What is corruption?”. The presenters of the round table addressed the historical roots of this phenomenon. The student speakers prepared material on corruption in Kazakhstan and beyond, from ancient times to the present, discussed life situations related to corruption and its forms. The guys actively expressed their opinions on the fight against corruption and suggested ways to combat it.

There was a lively discussion among the participants, opinions did not always coincide, but the general conclusion of all students was that corruption is dangerous in any form and it can only be successfully fought together. The round table for the participants became a good platform for interaction and exchange of their own opinions.
