On February 14, 2025, the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College hosted another meeting of the psychological club “Freud’s Children”. The theme of the series of meetings currently taking place in the club is “Personal Boundaries”. The purpose of this meeting is to study the concept of “personal boundaries”, their importance in interpersonal relationships, as well as to teach methods for establishing and protecting one’s boundaries. The event was attended by students of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College interested in psychology and personal development. The event covered various aspects of personal boundaries, such as physical, emotional, intellectual and temporal boundaries. Participants discussed how personal boundaries are formed, what factors can influence their violation, and what consequences may arise from violating boundaries. Particular attention was paid to practical exercises and techniques that help establish and protect one’s personal boundaries. Students were able to share their experiences, ask questions and receive recommendations from a psychologist. The event resulted in the participants realizing the importance of personal boundaries for psychological well-being and harmonious relationships with others. At the end of the event, the students’ opinions were heard, who noted the relevance and practical benefits of the information received.
