October 5. In Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, curatorial hours were held for students of 1-4 courses on the topic “The Path to a Culture of Peace”, dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance – November 16. The main goal of the event was: The ability to evaluate your actions and those of others, taking into account the equality of rights and responsibilities of all participants in the process. The ability to fulfill your obligations efficiently and on time, realizing the importance of each task in the overall result.

During the curatorial hour, the speakers invited students to complete the exercise “We are so different …”, play the game “Acquaintance”, where each participant in turn (in a circle) calls his name and his distinctive quality, made a cluster for the word tolerance, working in groups, gave meaning to the words: tolerance and intolerance, made cinquains for the words FRIENDSHIP and KINDNESS. At the end of the event, the students grew the traditional “Tree of Tolerance” and came to the conclusion that the conversation about tolerance left a deep mark on everyone’s soul, helped everyone understand that only respect for each other, mutual understanding, and tolerance will actually save the world.
