November 22, 2017 – Psychologists of the college in conjunction with specialists from the Kostanay Regional Center for AIDS Prevention and Control, a psychologist, Kuvanova B.T., a sociologist. Karasatova A.S. held a curatorial hour called “AIDS / HIV” in the college. The meeting was dedicated to the International Day against AIDS.

The purpose of the curatorial hour was to prevent the spread of HIV / AIDS in the youth environment, to develop awareness among the students of the importance of the problem of HIV / AIDS and personal responsibility for one’s own behavior, to promote HLS, and to foster tolerance towards HIV-infected people.

During the event, specialists of the center told about HIV-infection, gave statistics on HIV-infection in the population of Kazakhstan, Kostanay region. Then, students were shown a video “Pay attention”.

At the end of the event, the exercise “Degree of risk” was conducted, and information and educational materials on HIV and AIDS prevention were distributed among students.
