Survey Among Students: «No to Corruption!»

To improve the educational process, an anonymous survey was conducted in the college from January 6 to January 10 to identify corruption risks.

A total of 455 respondents, first- to fourth-year students, participated in the survey.

The distribution is as follows: 1st year – 41.54% (189 students), 2nd year – 29.23% (133 students), 3rd year – 16.48% (75 students), 4th year – 7.69% (35 students).

The survey consisted of 11 questions.

According to the survey results, 95.6% (435 respondents) were satisfied with the education provided at the college, while 4.4% (20 respondents) were not.

To the question, «What is your attitude towards corruption?»: 67.91% (309 respondents) answered that it is a criminal offense with strict penalties, 27.03% (123 respondents) said it undermines the state apparatus and constitutional foundations, requiring counteraction, 5.05% (23 respondents) considered it a necessary phenomenon that has become part of the national mentality.

To the question, «Do you think there is corruption in the college?»:

87.47% (398 respondents) answered negatively, 12.53% (57 respondents) were undecided.

To the question, «How do you usually pass exams and tests?»:
77.58% (353 respondents) answered that they study well during the semester and receive positive grades,20.66% (94 respondents) admitted finding it difficult to learn the material and barely passing the session.

To the question, «Does your college take anti-corruption measures?»: 92.09% (419 respondents) said yes, through campaigns and events.

To the question, «Do you think it is acceptable to resolve some issues through ‘unofficial’ means in the college?»: 79.34% (361 respondents) answered no.

To the question, «If you witnessed acts of corruption, what would you do?»:
41.54% (189 respondents) said they would definitely report to law enforcement agencies,41.32% (188 respondents) said it would depend on the situation,
17.14% (78 respondents) were undecided.

To the question, «Do you know where to turn in cases of encountering corrupt actions?»:88.57% (403 respondents) said they know where to go,
11.43% (52 respondents) said they do not know.

Based on the survey results, it can be noted that most college students exhibit «zero» tolerance toward any manifestation of corruption.
