THE IDEAS FOR THE FUTURE

       30.11.2018 the result of a competition of the innovative projects «Болашаққа Ұмтылу» among students of colleges and higher education institutions of the Kostanay region as which organizer JSC “Social and Enterprise Corporation “Тобол” acted is summed up.

      The main purpose of the competition was to encourage participants to develop new business ideas, products or services with an emphasis on current or future trends.

    For the period from November 1 to November 23, 2018, 41 applications were received from students of the region.

     The evaluation of the projects received was carried out by the competition commission, which included representatives of the public sector and universities of the region.

     The main evaluation criteria were the uniqueness of the project, novelty, relevance, social significance of the project and the possibility of project implementation.

«Startup Bolashak: Менің Арманым»

    In February 2018, a grandiose event started in Kazakhstan – the third season of the republican start-up competition «Startup Bolashak: Менің Арманым», in which young start-ups aged 16 to 35 years were invited to participate.

    The purpose of the Competition: support for socially significant business initiatives of young entrepreneurs aimed at improving the standards of quality of life, transfer of advanced knowledge and technologies in social and economic life of the country.

 Tasks of the competition:

-popularization of entrepreneurial activities among young people;

-assistance to the professional and personal development of young entrepreneurs;

-support for beginner entrepreneurs with experienced mentors;

– grant financing of start-up projects;

– expansion of accessibility of business support tools;

– implementation by the Organizers of the Plan of joint activities for the implementation of the Competition.

According to the organizers – the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Association ” Болашак ” – this competition is the largest in its history.

Qualifying rounds of the competition are held in each region of the country and 210 applications were registered, 240 participants.

As a result, the jury members approved 32 projects, which will continue to participate in the quarter – final of the youth start-up contest “Startup Bolashak 3 season”: «Менің Арманым» in May this year in Astana.

In the final 50 projects from all over Kazakhstan will have to convince investors, business angels and representatives of large venture capital funds of Kazakhstan that their project should be financed. The entire course of the project will be shown in the format of a reality show on «Хабар» TV channel.

A student of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College Bekbayeva Ayazhan presented the project “School of Physical and Intellectual Development «Эврика». The project manager is Kontrobaeva Zhannat Dusembievna, teacher of special disciplines. The startup was highly appreciated by the jury and passed to the next stage.
