Memo on the payment of state scholarships for students
(from September 1, 2024 to July 1, 2025)
based on the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 7, 2008 No. 116 “On approval of the Rules for the appointment, payment and amount of state scholarships”

*Payments of state scholarships are made for a full month, without splitting, after verification of recipients’ compliance with the requirements of these Rules, carried out as of the 15th day of the month, with the exception of recipients studying in the first semester of the first year, whose compliance verification is carried out in September as of September 30, and in subsequent months as of the 15th day of the month to establish the facts specified in paragraph 13 of these Rules. Based on the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 4, 2015 No. 677. Registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on January 20, 2016 No. 12894. “On approval of the rules for ensuring preferential travel by paying compensation for students on the basis of a state educational order in educational organizations implementing educational programs of technical and vocational, post-secondary and higher education, during the winter and summer holidays on intercity rail and road transport (except taxis)”
Compensation for travel is paid to the following categories of students on a state educational order:
- students full-time education in technical and vocational, post-secondary educational institutions twice a year, during the winter and summer holidays, in the amount of 2 times the monthly calculation index, annually approved by the law on the republican budget for the corresponding year;
- graduates of technical and vocational, post-secondary educational institutions – once a year in the amount of 2 times the MCI
1 MCI from January 1, 2024 is 3,692 tenge. - Compensation for travel to students is made by the organization paying compensation annually, in February and September, by transferring funds to the students’ card accounts or in cash.
- Compensation for travel to out-of-town students and graduates is paid on the basis of the data generated in the information system “National Educational Database”, confirming their registration at the place of residence in accordance with the schedule of the educational process of technical and vocational, post-secondary educational institutions.
- Compensation for travel for city students is paid upon presentation of documents (travel ticket and boarding pass, for bus travel only a travel ticket) confirming travel on intercity rail and automobile transport (except taxis) during the winter and summer holidays in accordance with the academic calendar of the institution of higher and postgraduate education, the schedule of the educational process of technical and vocational, post-secondary education institutions.

Memo “On approval of the amounts, sources, types and Rules for the provision of social assistance to citizens who receive social assistance”
Based on the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 12, 2012 No. 320 “On approval of the amounts, sources, types and Rules for the provision of social assistance to citizens who receive social assistance”
Students of secondary education organizations from families entitled to receive state targeted social assistance, as well as from families not receiving state targeted social assistance, in which the per capita income is below the subsistence minimum, and orphans, children left without parental care, are provided with one-time school meals in accordance with the amounts, sources and types of social assistance to citizens who receive social assistance, approved by this resolution.
