On December 20, 2023, a lecture-conversation was held at the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College on the topic “Administrative and criminal liability for committing offenses.”

The purpose of the event was to prevent juvenile delinquency; promotion of legal knowledge; developing skills for independent decision-making; developing skills for critical analysis of complex situations; Forming in students an understanding that by committing an offense, they not only violate the Law, but also cause pain to their relatives and other people.

In her speech, Dyusekeeva L.K., deputy director for water management, reminded students how to avoid becoming a victim of a crime. Issues were raised about the safety and health of children, as well as about the administrative and criminal liability of students for committing offenses. In her speech, Dyusekeeva L.K. touched upon responsibility for committing crimes such as theft, robbery, extortion, causing bodily harm, etc. Teenagers were explained at what age criminal liability begins and what punishments are applied for committing crimes, students became acquainted with the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Administrative Offenses”, and also with the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Bisimbaeva spoke on the issue of preventing the use of psychoactive substances and gambling addiction among students Gulsum Aitzhanovna , psychologist of the Kostanay Regional Mental Health Center. In his speech, Gulsum Aitzhanovna told her parents about the dangers and consequences of drug use and surfactant use (tobacco, nasvay , hookah, smoking mixtures, etc.). In her report, the specialist spoke about the effects of psychotropic substances on the central nervous system and gave examples of deaths among college students taking synthetic drugs.

Throughout the conversation, the guys listened to the speakers with great attention and received answers to all their questions.
