On March 12, sports competitions in national games were held in the gymnasium of Kostanay Higher Polytechnic College in honor of the Nauryz holiday. The purpose of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, popularize national sports games, and develop team spirit.

The competitions included tug-of-war and kettlebell lifting. Students demonstrated their strength and agility while competing for prizes.

Results of the tug-of-war competition:

  • 1st place – Group A-3
  • 2nd place – Group M-11
  • 3rd place – Group E-15
• Among girls:
  • 1st place – Group XP-26
  • 2nd place – Group TZ-30

Results of the kettlebell lifting competition:

• Among girls:
  • 1st place – Tursunbekova Akerke (B-2)
  • 2nd place – Osotova Anastasia (XP-26)
  • 3rd place – Zakarlyukina Anna (XP-26)
• Among boys:
  • 1st place – Dospolov Ali (ST-6)
  • 2nd place – Kunak Ramazan (A-3)
  • 3rd place – Shikhshavekov Artur (E-13)

These competitions allowed participants to showcase their athletic abilities and experience the spirit of friendship and unity. Such events contribute to the revival of national sports and encourage young people to lead a healthy lifestyle. The tournament, organized in honor of the Nauryz holiday, once again confirmed the significance of traditional games.
