who were betrothed to fate with shackles, thorns, chains,

our tears and sorrow, our eternal memory!

According to the plan of educational work, on May 28, curatorial hours were held in courses 1-4 of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College on the theme “May 31 is the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression”

. The purpose of the event was to form students’ understanding of the scale of mass repression; to foster feelings of patriotism, respect for people who lived in those terrible, difficult years. The curatorial hour began with the fact that the students had to determine the meaning of the concepts:

a) repression;

b) state terror;

c) the victim is political;

d) a totalitarian state
