The annual tradition of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College on military-
patriotic work is holding excursions to the Museum of Martial Glory for first-year
students.
In this connection on October 15, 2024 the students of group PO-8, HP-26, TZ-
30, ST-8 of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College consisting of 25 people made an
excursion to the Museum of Combat Glory of secondary school No 4 of Kostanay.

Excursion guide Karpenko Svetlana Gelanyevna conducted a very interesting and
informative tour of the Museum of Martial Glory.
The children familiarized themselves with the exhibits of the Great Patriotic War,
as well as with the exhibits of the Afghan War. These are combat weapons, maps of our
troops’ offensives, photos of war heroes – famous commanders, their military awards,
military uniforms, yellowed letters – triangles, and items of military life.
The children felt the atmosphere of the war years, realized that war is an evil,
bringing fear, destruction, death, and were imbued with a sense of pride for the great
Victory, a sense of gratitude to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and veterans of
combat operations.
The original exhibits placed in the museum not only convey the atmosphere of
war, but also touch upon such moral feelings as duty, patriotism, justice and loyalty.
The students listened with great interest to the story about the difficult years of
the war. They were also given stands with photos, which they could not only look at,
but also touch with their hands. The atmosphere of the museum reminded about the war,
about the price of the Victory to our people.
The boys were very pleased with the excursion.
