On September 19, 2024, students at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College attended a meeting with a police district inspector on the topic “Қатты тәртіп көрсе бала күнінде…”

The purpose of the event was to prevent juvenile offenses, promote legal awareness, develop skills for making responsible decisions independently, and foster the ability to critically analyze complex situations.

In her speech, Jangabulova S.S., a district inspector of the Juvenile Police Department of the Kostanay City Police Department, covered issues such as the rights of minors, as well as the administrative and criminal liability of students for various offenses. These included traffic violations, bullying, cyberbullying, online fraud, crimes against sexual integrity, theft, robbery, extortion, and causing bodily harm. The students were informed about the age at which criminal liability begins and the punishments imposed for committing crimes. They were also introduced to the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the topic of preventing the use of psychoactive substances and gambling addiction among students, the Deputy Director for Educational Work, Dyusekeeva L.K., addressed the harmful effects and consequences of using drugs, psychoactive substances (tobacco, nasway, hookah, smoking mixtures, etc.).

Throughout the discussion, the students listened attentively to the speakers and received answers to all their questions.
