On April 20, 2026, the college hosted a legal awareness hour titled “Bullying or How Not to Become a Victim,” aimed at preventing offenses and ensuring safety within the student environment. The keynote speaker for the event was Senior District Police Inspector of the Juvenile Police Group (OMPS SOP UP of Kostanay), Police Captain Yanna Vitalievna Aksenkina. Students from groups 1SIB-1, 1A-4, 1ES-25, 1TZ-31, and 1PO-10 took part in the open dialogue.
During the meeting, the Police Captain provided a detailed explanation of the legal aspects of harassment, emphasizing that administrative and criminal liability exists for any form of psychological or physical pressure. Special attention was paid to the protocol of actions in situations where a student becomes a witness or a victim of bullying. Yanna Vitalievna shared practical advice on how to avoid falling for provocations and whom to contact for immediate assistance.
Students actively engaged in the discussion, asking questions about protection measures in the digital space and discussing the importance of fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and “zero tolerance” for any manifestations of aggression within the community. This event marked a significant step toward strengthening the legal literacy of freshmen and creating a safe educational environment.
