On February 27, 2025, a lecture on «Reproductive Health Protection, Harm and Consequences of Abortion» was held in the assembly hall of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. The purpose of the lecture was to educate young people about the importance of maintaining reproductive health, preventing unwanted pregnancies, and understanding the possible consequences of abortion. The event was attended by 319 college students.

The lecture was delivered by midwife Luiza Isayevna Gadiyeva from Polyclinic No. 5. She spoke about the physiological and psychological consequences of abortion, emphasizing its impact on a woman’s body and possible complications in the future. The doctor also addressed issues of contraception, explained modern methods of prevention, and stressed the importance of a conscious approach to health.

Additionally, the social pedagogue of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, E.A. Muslimova, gave a speech on “Prevention of Crimes Related to the Sexual Integrity of Minors.” In her presentation, she informed students about the legal aspects of this issue, measures of responsibility, and the importance of fostering a conscious attitude towards morality and the law.

The lecture received an active response from students. At the end of the event, participants asked their questions and received comprehensive answers from specialists. Such meetings contribute to the formation of a responsible attitude towards one’s health and help young people understand the importance of preventing the negative consequences of thoughtless decisions.
