Currently, legal education is becoming an important aspect of the development of society. Knowledge of law, the ability to navigate in legal issues affect not only the development of an individual, but also the development of the whole society.Legal education as a direction of the educational process requires the creation of such conditions in an educational institution, where every teenager can realize the importance of their rights and obligations and treat them as a positive aspect of social life.On September 10, 2020, a legal hour was held for freshmen at the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College in an online format with the participation of the police inspector for juvenile affairs of the SOP of the Unitary Enterprise of the city of Kostanay, Lieutenant E.M. Ispandyarova.The purpose of the event was to improve the legal literacy of students. During the event, students were introduced to the rights and responsibilities of college students, the main articles of the administrative code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regulating the behavior of young people. The students were informed about the telephone numbers of the National Call Center for the Rights of the Child in the Republic of Kazakhstan and a single helpline. Students actively participated and asked questions.
