On March 05-07, 2024 in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College was held a lesson of courage, dedicated to the 100 th anniversary of the birth of the first Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharmany, front-line soldier, Army General Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich Nurmagambetov.

The purpose of this event was to show students heroism and bravery, immortalizing the memory of the legendary general, who made an invaluable contribution to the preservation and formation of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.

For students of groups B-4, PO-5, B-5 was shown a documentary film about the feat of the legendary commander “Duty, honor, feat!”.

After watching the movie, the participants talked about Sagadat Nurmagambetov’s career and many years of service in the Armed Forces.

“It was a matter of honor for Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich to serve the Motherland and defend the Fatherland. He can rightfully be called a legendary man, because the life of a professional military man encompassed a whole epoch.
