On December 24, a meeting was held at the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College with representatives of law enforcement on the topic «Drug Abuse Prevention and Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking.»
The purpose of the event was to thoroughly discuss prevention methods, reduce the negative impact of drugs on youth, and share experiences in combating illegal drug trafficking.

During the meeting, Senior Officer of the Kostanay City Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel A.K. Sexenova, shared statistics on drug distribution in the region and spoke about measures taken to curb this negative trend. Examples of successful operations to apprehend criminals involved in illegal drug trafficking were presented, along with video clips.

The college’s social educator, E.A. Morgunova, gave a speech emphasizing the importance of building resilience in youth against harmful habits. She also proposed expanding interaction with students’ families and organizing training and consultations aimed at strengthening moral and spiritual values.

Such events not only help increase youth awareness but also strengthen ties between educational institutions, law enforcement agencies, and society. Only through joint efforts can we effectively combat the threat of drug addiction and safeguard the health of future generations.
