On May 7, 2024 on the territory of the Central Park near the monument to Akhmet Baitursynov was held a solemn event in honor of the state holiday “Defender of the Fatherland Day”.

The objectives of the event were: the development of military-patriotic education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, promoting military service and improving the image of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This event was attended by students of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RK, specialized classes “Zhas Sarbaz”, pupils of military-patriotic clubs, including students of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College from the military-industrial complex “Zhas Sarbaz” are students of group M-12.

In front of the participants of this event were guys who showed formation coherence, figure marching, hand-to-hand combat with and without weapons, elements of sambo, judo, freestyle wrestling.
