Career guidance is an important stage in the process of preparing students for choosing a future profession. It helps students understand their interests, abilities and inclinations, as well as navigate the modern labor market.
On January 20, 2025, teachers of Kostanay Higher Polytechnic College Kuzhakhmetova A.Zh., Kabduali D.S. held a career guidance event among 9th grade students at the KSU “Secondary School No. 21 of the Department of Education of the city of Kostanay”
During the event, they began with a friendly greeting and a short story about the purpose of the meeting, and talked about trends in the labor market. Together with the students, they discussed the importance of interests and values. They distributed questionnaires with QR codes for students. Concluding the event, Kabduali D.S. and Kuzhakhmetova A.Zh. distributed a list of useful resources: social networks and the college’s website, email address, contact information, video materials about professions.
Thus, career guidance with students plays a key role in their personal and professional development. It not only helps students to better understand their interests and opportunities, but also motivates them to actively explore the world of professions. Successful career guidance contributes to the formation of an informed approach to choosing a life path, which increases the chances of a successful and satisfying career.
