On June 7, 2019, a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College under the leadership of Sadykov Timur Meyrhanovich, Chairman of the Board – President of JSC “Bayan Sulu”.

The following persons took part in the work of the Board of Trustees: Kazin Manarbek Auanovich – Head of the Human Capital Development Department of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Kostanay Region, Zhurkabayev M.K., Head of the Department of Youth Policy of the Akimat of Kostanay Region, Olkinyan Lyudmila Yuryevna – Head of the University “Allur Group SaryarkaAvtoProm”, Zhumagulov Serik Akanovich – Regional Director of LLP “Baltic Control Kazakhstan LTD” , Kan Vladimir Anatolyevich – Director of LLP “Mezhregionenergotranzit”, Nysanov Adel Turebekovich – Director of LLP «Bitrix» and representatives of the public parent college, Nespbaev A.A., an engineer by training of the  Corporate University Allur Group SaryarkaAvtoProm.

The meeting was held in the form of a round table at which members of the Board of Trustees exchanged views, discussed problems and solutions to popularize working professions, tools to support young people in the competition of workers, opportunities for increasing the number of WorldSkills participants, creating a platform for professional growth of young professionals.

During the meeting, the Prospects for the development of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College were considered as part of the implementation of the “Zhas Maman” project of the Holding Kasipkor. Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College is the basic college of the Holding Kasipkor for targeted training of personnel for the agricultural sector of the national economy. According to the List of professions in demand, the college has defined specialties for participation in the project: 0902000 “Electricity Supply” (by branches), qualification 0902033 Electrical Technician and 1219000 “Bakery, macaroni and confectionery production”, qualification 1219243 Technician-technologist. The chosen specialties are relevant and in demand in the region, as they correspond to the sectorial orientation of enterprises, as well as a high percentage of employment of graduates of higher colleges in the field of specialties. The work plan of the Board of Trustees of the college for the 2019-2020 academic year was presented, in which 4 meetings of the Board of Trustees are scheduled. According to the Work Plan, measures are planned to ensure the quality of educational, technological and pre-diploma practices, the achievement of target indicators in the employment of graduates in accordance with the State Education Development Program 2016-2019 and the provision of a dual training system.

The members of the Board of Trustees made recommendations on priority areas for the development of the college:

• continue to work together at the WorldSkills Movement: for social partners by submitting applications to the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” for conducting preparatory courses at enterprises for Championship participants;
• the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” to hold a round table with representatives of the Department of Education of Akimat of Kostanay Region, the Department of Youth Policy of Akimat of Kostanay Region and enterprises to consider this proposal and the need for funding from local executive bodies;
• to support the initiative of the college to take part in the project “Zhas Maman” in the specialties 0902000 “Power supply” (by branches), qualification 0902033 Electrical technician and 1219000 “Bakery, macaroni and confectionery production”, qualification 1219243 Technician technologist (agricultural industry).
