In the modern world, the issue of professional self-determination of young people remains relevant and very significant. The importance of training highly qualified specialists for the economy of any state can hardly be overestimated. In this context, career guidance work carried out by educational institutions plays a key role in the system of professional education.

On April 19, 2024 the teacher of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College Rodion Lazarev held a significant event on career guidance work among students of 9 classes of KSU “General Education School № 5 named after Bauyrzhan Momyshuly of Kostanay city”. The event is aimed at informing schoolchildren about the opportunities offered by vocational education in the college.

During the meeting, students were provided with comprehensive information about the various specialties offered by the college. Special attention was paid to the material and technical base of the educational institution, which is an important aspect for future students. The teacher also told about various events organized by the college, which help students not only to get quality knowledge, but also to develop their social and professional skills.

Concluding the event, Rodion Lazarev handed out propaganda and information materials to the schoolchildren and answered many questions of the students concerning future education and professional path. This allowed the pupils to better understand what prospects may open before them after graduation.

Such events play an important role in the lives of young people, helping them to make an informed choice in favor of a particular profession. This, in turn, contributes to the formation of the country’s human resource potential, which is a strategic objective of the national education system.
