On February 25-26, our college held a curatorial hour dedicated to Gratitude Day in Kazakhstan. This event was an important event aimed at strengthening friendship, mercy and harmony between students of different nationalities.
The goals of the curatorial hour were:
To acquaint students with the history and meaning of the holiday Gratitude Day in Kazakhstan
To develop in students a sense of patriotism, tolerance and respect for representatives of different nationalities.
To cultivate in students a sense of gratitude, respect for the older generation and the history of their country.
The curatorial hour began with a story about the history of Gratitude Day. Students learned that this holiday was established in 2016 and is dedicated to the creation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. March 1 has become a symbol of gratitude to the Kazakh people for their hospitality and tolerance shown during the difficult years of deportations and repressions.
During the curatorial hour, the goals and traditions of Gratitude Day were discussed. Students talked about the importance of expressing gratitude to family, loved ones, friends, and everyone who has supported them. Particular attention was paid to the significance of this holiday for strengthening unity and harmony in multinational Kazakhstan.
During the curatorial hour, students: learned about the history of the holiday: examined in detail the historical background and significance of Gratitude Day for modern Kazakhstan. Discussed the values of the holiday: talked about friendship, mercy, harmony, and the importance of gratitude in everyday life. Shared personal stories: students talked about who and for what they are grateful, and how this affected their lives.
The curatorial hour “A Thousand Gratitudes” became an important step in fostering a sense of patriotism and respect for the history of the country among college students. It contributed to strengthening friendly ties between students of different nationalities and reminded about the importance of mutual understanding and respect.
