“Afghanistan. How it was.”

On February 12, 2025 in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College was held a lesson of courage, among students of groups A-3, B-7, dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan.

The purpose of this lesson is to form students’ knowledge about the participation in the war in Afghanistan of our soldiers and officers, their exploits.

To develop in students the idea that defense of the Motherland is a sacred duty of every human being.

Anatoly Nikolaevich Kharchenko was invited to the event. The children talked to the warrior-internationalist, watched videos, listened to songs.

In the memory of our people this war will live a long time, because its history is written by the blood of soldiers and tears of mothers, obelisks with tin stars and songs burst into our lives by the front wind. And the war will forever remain in the souls of the generation that came out of it, scorched by fire and learned its military and moral lessons.
