Course at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College

On February 13, 2025, at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, as part of the Week of the Department of Information and Economic Disciplines, special subjects’ teachers Madin V.A. and Uaisova M.M. conducted the first session of the “Basics of Programming in 1C: Enterprise 8.3” course.

This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of programming and development on the 1C platform, which is a highly sought-after skill in today’s job market. The full course consists of 24 academic hours.

Course Objectives:

• Introduce students to the capabilities and functionality of the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 system.
• Teach the basics of programming on the 1C platform.
• Support students’ interest in information technology and programming.
• Prepare students for practical work in the field of business process automation.

Event Format

The first session was conducted in the form of a lecture and a practical session, which included:

1. Introduction to the 1C: Enterprise 8.3 System
2. Overview of platform capabilities.
3. Application of 1C in various business sectors.
4. Practical Session
5. Familiarization with the platform’s operating modes.
6. Creation of a new information database.
7. Structuring the future application.
8. Introduction to user interface customization options.

Results and Feedback

The session generated significant interest among students, as evidenced by their active participation and engaging discussions. During the practical part, students mastered the basic operating modes of the 1C platform, created a new information database, and defined the structure of their future application. Additionally, they explored user interface customization options, gaining a deeper understanding of working with the system.

At the end of the session, students completed feedback questionnaires, where they highlighted:

• The usefulness of the information and practical skills acquired.
• Interest in further learning and development of programming skills.
• A desire to deepen their knowledge in more complex topics, including advanced interface customization and business process automation.

The launch of the “Basics of Programming in 1C: Enterprise 8.3” course was an important step in the college’s educational process. Future sessions will cover more advanced topics and provide students with additional practical assignments.
