To fulfill military duty consciously and worthily – it is necessary to know your country, its past and present, to have an idea about the army, to be morally, psychologically and physically ready for the forthcoming military service, to protect the sovereignty and independence of Kazakhstan.

In this connection on September 05, 2024 in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College was held a lesson of courage, where were invited representatives of the Republican Public Association “Veterans of the Group of Soviet Troops in Germany and the Group of Warsaw Pact Troops” in Kostanay region.

This event was attended by 1st year students of group M-14, ST-8.

In the beginning the head of the group of educational and ideological work of the parole center junior sergeant Shapobieva I.I. She told about the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about the peculiarities of conscription.

Then veterans Bekishev E.K., Kanalin Sh.A., Kozhakhmetov S.S. talked about patriotic education of youth and raising military prestige in the country.

The students, in turn, asked several questions of interest, to which they received comprehensive answers.

This event was held in a friendly format and aroused keen interest among the college students.
