On March 7, 2024, at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, Deputy Director for Educational and methodological work Kaipbaeva ZH.SH. held a seminar to explain changes to the rules of teacher certification.

According to the draft order, during the transition period before the start of the National Platform for Continuous Professional Development “Ustaz”, teachers and masters of industrial training pass subject knowledge and teaching methods, teachers of other positions pass “Fundamentals of Pedagogy and psychology”, first heads, deputy heads of educational organizations pass “Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and regulatory legal acts in the field of education” Teachers with 30 or more years of teaching experience are exempt from the АTK test upon confirmation.

Teachers who have the qualification categories “second category”, “first category”, “highest category”, on the basis of an application, undergo a qualification assessment and a АTK for assignment of the qualification category “teacher moderator”, “teacher expert”, “teacher researcher”, respectively, or on a general basis in accordance with the Rules of certification. The public service is provided through the e-government portal or the office of the service provider.
