“Digitalization as a path to success”

On September 28-29, on the basis of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, the regional championship “WorldSkills Kostanay-2020” in the competence “Internet of Things” was held for the first time in the region.

The Internet of Things (IoT) competence is a concept that involves the use of a huge number of devices (things) that interact not only with a person, but also with each other, as well as with other information systems.

The competition was attended by students of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College with a degree in Computer Science and Software Ismagulov Tamirlan, Mirkaidarov Ramazan.

The task of the participants was to master the full curriculum for automatic control systems, create algorithms and complex systems, and make an ergonomic interface.

According to the results of the competition, Ismagulov Tamirlan, a student of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, took 1st place, Mirkaidarov Ramazan took 2nd place.

The Internet of Things competence is a critical driver of digital transformation and the foundation for the development of smart enterprises.
