An event dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great akyn and poet Zhambyl Zhabayev was held at the college library. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce students to the life and work of the poet, and to highlight his contributions to the culture and history of the nation. The students learned about the key stages of his biography, and the significance of his works, which reflect the spirit of the era, folk traditions, and ideals of justice. Special attention was given to Zhambyl’s role in the development of Kazakh poetry and the preservation of the oral heritage. The event features a book exhibition titled “Zhambyl’s Legacy – the Legacy of the Country,” which showcases the best publications and materials about his work.
