On September 26, in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, as part of the activities of the Family Club, a parent-teacher meeting was held on the topic: “Prevention of auto-destructive behavior, bullying/cyberbullying and violence against minors.”

The main objective of the event was to inform parents about the problems associated with the auto-destructive behavior of adolescents, bullying/cyberbullying, gambling/ludomania, as well as violence against minors. It was important to draw parents’ attention to the issues of interaction between children and adults, as well as to provide preventive support.

At the end of the event, the parents were given memos with the basics of safe behavior, as well as recommendations on parental control and prevention of auto-destructive behavior, bullying/cyberbullying, gambling/ludomania and violence.

In addition, the participants of the event were given the contact details of teacher-psychologist Tatyana Viktorovna Naumenko, Sabina Gabitovna Utebekova, Elena Alexandrovna Petrenko, head of the Psychological Support Center, Nesibeli Zarivanovna Basenova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights, and the round-the-clock 111 hotline. Booklets and business cards were distributed to all parents as part of the “If it’s difficult, just call” campaign.
