On December 24, 2025, a festive event — the New Year tree lighting ceremony titled “The Holiday Is Coming” — took place at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. The event became a bright and memorable occasion on the eve of the New Year.

The purpose of the event was to create a festive atmosphere, develop students’ creative potential, strengthen friendly relations within the student community, and form a positive emotional mood among students and teachers.

The праздничная program began with welcoming speeches by the hosts and an energetic dance performance. A special festive atmosphere was created by the appearance of the main New Year characters — Father Frost and the Snow Maiden — who congratulated everyone on the upcoming New Year and brought positive emotions to the audience.

Students took part in a round dance, recited New Year poems, and actively supported the festive program. The highlight of the event was the ceremonial lighting of the New Year tree, accompanied by loud applause from the participants.

The celebration was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere and brought joy, smiles, and a sense of New Year magic to everyone present. The event became a bright conclusion to the academic year and left pleasant impressions on students and teachers alike.
