On April 20, 2026, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College hosted a large-scale preventive event aimed at increasing the legal literacy of young people and preventing offenses. The meeting took place in student groups 1SIB-1, 1A-4, 1ES-25, 1TZ-31, and 1PO-10. Senior Juvenile Police Inspector of the Local Police Service of the Kostanay City Police Department, Police Captain Yanna Vitalyevna Aksenkina, addressed the students. The presentation program covered the most pressing issues facing modern teenagers today.

One of the central topics was the sexual integrity of minors. The inspector explained in detail the legal norms designed to protect their rights and emphasized the necessity of following personal safety rules both in real life and in the digital space. Within the session dedicated to fraud, the main deception schemes used by criminals online and over the phone were analyzed. Yanna Vitalyevna provided practical advice on how to recognize manipulation and protect personal data and financial resources from cybercriminals.

Special attention was paid to the prevention of drug substance abuse. The police officer highlighted the devastating impact of psychoactive substances on human health and social prospects, and warned of the severe criminal liability for crimes related to illegal drug trafficking. Students were reminded that involvement in any distribution schemes for prohibited substances carries irreversible consequences for one’s life history and personal freedom. At the end of the meeting, students received comprehensive answers to their questions. Such events strengthen discipline within the student community and help foster a conscious attitude toward complying with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
