December 21 in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College held a round table discussion on “Honesty – the best policy!”. The event was attended by 1st year students (25 people).

The aim of the round table was to form an aversion to corruption, foster integrity among students, and inform students about the dangers of corruption.

At the round table, the head of the student club “Sanaly Kurpak” Master Shektybaeva L.F. revealed the essence of the concept of “culture against corruption”, opened the discussion on the main priorities and objectives of combating corruption, on the work to prevent and combat corruption in the education system. The students actively participated in the discussion, emphasizing that the fight against this “evil”, first of all, should start from themselves, from each family. In her speech L.K. Dyusekeeva, Deputy for Academic Development, noted that young people should not give up their moral principles and preserve their human dignity in any situation. She emphasized that the primary task of the state and society is not to fight the consequences of corruption, but to prevent it. And everyone needs to start with themselves, with a change of consciousness and mentality. Everyone should start with themselves – to study honestly, to pass a session honestly, to work honestly. This should become the norm of our lives.
