On December 4, the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College hosted the Startup competition of innovative ideas presentations in the TEDx format. The event, organized by the teacher of special disciplines Uaisova M.M., became part of the large-scale educational program «Unified_Upbringing», aimed at developing the creative potential of students and supporting their initiatives

The purpose of the competition: support and identification of business ideas, business initiatives of students aimed at developing quality of life standards and nurturing an active life position of students, competencies necessary for an entrepreneur. Development of the innovative potential of young people in the economic and entrepreneurial spheres of the region. Students took part in this event; the number of students was 287 people.

According to the results of the competition, the following projects were recognized as the best: «Smart containers for separate waste collection» (Berikbay D., Dyusenova D.) – a project aimed at solving environmental problems and increasing environmental awareness; «Oku sauattylyk batyrmasy» (Baibulov B., Akmagambetov I.) – an innovative button that will help improve children’s reading and writing skills; «Development of technology for gluten-free flour products from non-traditional raw materials» (Zakarlyukina A., Zalieva A.) is a project aimed at creating healthy and tasty products for people with gluten intolerance.

The winning works were noted for their originality, practical significance and high potential for commercialization. The Startup competition became a bright event in the life of the college and showed that the student youth is full of creative ideas and ready for new achievements.
