On April 16, 2026, as part of the annual career guidance work, lecturers of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College — Sagandykova Zh.B., Alseitov K.S., Beyssenova Kh.B., Kuryerova M.P., Kukenova B.K. — conducted outreach meetings with 9th-grade students of schools in the Altynsarin District.

The career guidance activities were organized in the following educational institutions: Ubagan Secondary School named after Ibrai Altynsarin with an attached boarding school — 13 students; Borshche-Churakov Secondary School — 17 students; Silantiev Secondary School — 38 students; Shcherbakov Secondary School named after Mariyam Khakimzhanova — 35 students.

A total of 103 students were covered by the career guidance activities.

During the meetings, students were provided with information about the college’s specialties, admission requirements, as well as prospects for further education and employment. The lecturers spoke about in-demand professions and opportunities for students’ self-realization.

The event generated great interest among students: they actively asked questions and received detailed answers, which contributed to a more conscious choice of their future profession.
