On the eve of International Women’s Day on March 8th, our college held curatorial hours for first- to fourth-year students on the topic: “Bärä de, Ana, bär özönen bastaldy”
The goals of the event were:
To foster in students a sense of love, deep respect, and gratitude for their mothers. To strengthen family values and an understanding of the role of women in modern society. To develop the creative abilities and communication culture of young people.
The curatorial hours were held in various interactive formats: students prepared literary and musical compositions, recited classic and original poems, and created celebratory collages and video greetings called “Letter to Mom.” Discussion panels and roundtables were held on the topics of intergenerational continuity, motherhood as a great calling, and a discussion of the image of mothers in art and history. A mother is the beginning of beginnings, a source of warmth and wisdom. Holding such meetings helps students rethink the importance of the people closest to them in their lives and express their gratitude.
The events were held in a warm, intimate atmosphere. Students actively participated in the discussions, shared stories about their families, and prepared creative gifts. These mentoring hours foster the spiritual core of future professionals and strengthen the bond between generations.
The number of students who participated in the mentoring hours: 1st year – 414; 2nd year – 330; 3rd year – 208; 4th year – 146; group leaders – 43.
