On April 21, 2026, the Republican Olympiad was held among teachers of special disciplines of technical and vocational, post-secondary education in the field of “Accounting and Audit.” A total of 37 educators from all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the event.

The organizers of the Olympiad were:

1. Municipal State Institution “Methodological Center” of the Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region;
2. Municipal State Enterprise “Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College”;
3. Republican Educational and Methodological Association in the profile “Business and Management” of the Municipal State Enterprise “Almaty State Business College”.

The main objective of the Olympiad was to enhance the professional competence of teachers, promote best teaching practices, develop the professional community, and facilitate the exchange of experience among participants.

The Olympiad consisted of two stages:

• Module A — theoretical testing in the discipline “Accounting and Audit” (up to 30 points);
• Module B — выполнение заданий в программе 1С:Бухгалтерия (up to 70 points).

The maximum score was 100 points. Teachers with at least two years of teaching experience representing TVET institutions were eligible to participate.

All stages were conducted online under continuous video monitoring, ensuring transparency and objectivity in the assessment process.

Based on the results of the tasks, a ranking of participants was compiled, and winners and prize-winners were determined accordingly.

The Olympiad became a significant event in the professional community of teachers of economic disciplines. It provided participants with an opportunity to demonstrate a high level of professional competence, as well as contributed to strengthening professional interaction and improving the quality of teaching in the field of accounting.
