Ahead of the school holidays, final meetings were held for all year groups at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. One of the key topics of the meetings was summarizing the educational process for the semester and conducting a comprehensive safety briefing and rules of conduct during the school holidays.
Group leaders reminded students of the importance of complying with the law and maintaining personal safety.
1. Crime Prevention and Legal Literacy
Particular attention was paid to administrative liability. Students were reminded that their status as students requires adherence to public moral standards.
Public Order: Obscene language, offensive behavior, and damage to property in public places are unacceptable.
Substance Abuse: We remind students of the strict prohibition on the use of alcohol, narcotics, and psychotropic substances.
“Law on Silence”: It is necessary to comply with regional regulations and not disturb the peace of citizens in the evening and at night. Anti-terrorism: If you find suspicious, unattended items (bags, gadgets), touching them is strictly prohibited. The situation should be immediately reported to the police or by calling 112.
Civic Position: Students are advised to avoid participating in unauthorized public events, mindful of the penalties for violating their rules.
2. Behavior in Public Places and on Transportation
Communication Culture: Group leaders encourage students to be polite to others and service providers.
Property Safety: In crowded areas, it is important not to leave valuables (phones, documents) unattended.
Transport Security: On transportation facilities (train stations), it is prohibited to go beyond the platform demarcation line until the train has come to a complete stop.
Students under 18 are also reminded that they are prohibited from being in public places at night without the accompaniment of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Road Safety (Traffic Regulations)
With the onset of the holidays, traffic intensity increases, so following traffic regulations becomes critical:
Crossing the road: Only at pedestrian crossings and strictly on green lights.
“No Gadgets”: When crossing the road, remove headphones and put away your phone to ensure complete control of the situation.
Personal Mobility Devices (PMD): When crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing, dismount.
Remember: pedestrians always have priority.
4. Fire and Electrical Safety
To prevent household fires during the holiday season, students are instructed to:
Electrical Monitoring: Do not leave plugged-in chargers, computers, or heaters unattended. Do not use faulty electrical outlets.
Escape Routes: Do not clutter hallways and stairwells with personal belongings.
Pyrotechnics: The launching of fireworks and firecrackers is permitted only outdoors in designated areas. The use of fireworks indoors and on balconies is strictly prohibited.
In case of fire: If you detect fire or smoke, immediately call 101 or 112.
Dear students! Your safety is in your hands. Enjoy your holidays productively, maintaining your health and an impeccable reputation.
