On September 5, 2024, a round table “The state language is the pillar of the nation!” dedicated to the Day of Languages of the people of Kazakhstan was held at Kostanay Higher Polytechnic College in honor of the holiday of languages. The purpose of the event is to expand the scope of the state language, popularize the status and meaning of the state language, increase the level of proficiency in the Kazakh language among representatives of other nationalities, increase interest and interest in learning the Kazakh language. The event was attended by the chief specialist of the Department of onomastic work of the State Institution “Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region” Saduakasova Aizhan Zhusanovna, who spoke about the ongoing work in the field on the implementation of the state language policy. College teachers Beisenova Khamar Bayazitovna and Akhmetzhanova Dinara Kosylbekovna expressed their thoughts on the following issues: “How to raise the status of our state language?”, “The release of the state language in college: results and problems”. The participants of the round table noted that knowledge of the state language is a requirement of life, the demand of time, the need of society, and every citizen of Kazakhstan should fulfill his civic duties, using the language in all spheres of life and expanding the scope of his activities.
